doc_willisGuestLooking at the URL…http://ww25.ubuntu.byteiran.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy/
It seems its for sale. (It shows up a GOdaddy for sale page) If it was used by that package in the past, it seems the developer has not keep it up.
So the first url is routing to a second URL that is no longer hosting files..
seems sort of weird.
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!
I noticed my Ublock filters blocked the first URL after your Error: message https://ubuntu.byteiran.com/ubuntu
with the filter of .. ` ||truanet.com^`
Googling for That.. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=who+is+truanet.com
>> What is Truanet.com? Truanet.com is a site that redirects the browser to ads for unwanted browser extensions, surveys, adult sites, online web games, fake software updates, and unwanted programs.
This is the first time i have seen any sort of post on a Repo rerouting to some sort of malware/adware url. 🙂 Congratulations!
So..
it LOOKS like the repo has been either discontinued and somehow rerouted to a malware site/company, or something very weird and suspect is going on.
**Best suggestion – remove that repo.**
Curious as to why/who/where you got the info to add that repo in the first place, what were you trying to accomplish?

t3gGuestIf you go into your `/etc/apt/sources.list.d/` directory on your drive, there should be some .sources files.If you set the Ubuntu repositories to [https://apt.pop-os.org/ubuntu](https://apt.pop-os.org/ubuntu) it will be pointing to the Pop OS mirrors. There’s also a [https://apt.pop-os.org/release](https://apt.pop-os.org/release) repo to use for the Pop OS updates.
